Arvixe redirecting index.php to login and getting 404 error

Hi there,

I am building a beta site on my Arvixe shared server, the direct link worked fine but suddenly now I am getting a 404 error. I am being redirected, this is the link:

http://dallas139.arvixeshared.com/~bluekite/nowon.us/beta/index.php...

Anyone knows?

Thank you!

V.

If you log in using this URL, can you check Dashboard->System and Settings->Site Access and check whether the site is set to 'Public'

Hi @mhawke,

Thank you for your reply!

I do get the login window with the link you said, but I get a 404 error and redirected to this link:

http://dallas139.arvixeshared.com/~bluekite/nowon.us/beta/login/aut...

It looks like it is rewritting the link without index.php

Thank you again....

Did you happen to drag the Login page to some other place on your Sitemap than where it was originally placed? I had a similar problem just a few days ago when I was setting up a public registration page and I moved the Login page under the Register page in the sitemap.

Thank you again...
How can I check that in the server? Because I can't access the control panel...

I'm talking about the Sitemap within the concrete5 Dashboard, not the sitemap on the server. As I mentioned, when this happened to me, I had moved my Login page so it was no longer on the 'top level' because I had moved it under 'Register' like the attached image. Do you remember moving the Login page on the concrete5 sitemap?

If I did, it was an accident, but how could I know or fix it if I can't login to the dashboard?
Thank you again for your help...

It's quite hard to do by accident so perhaps this is not the problem.

Do you have access to your server through FTP like Filezilla? If so can you open the ".htaccess" file and tell us what's in there?
