login no longer works

After entering my username and password, instead of launching the dashboard, I'm redirected to my home page. I can't get into the backend of my site anymore. I changed by password to see if that would work, but it didn't.

try navigating to yoursite.com/dashboard

I'm assuming what you mean is you cant see the edit toolbar for one reason or another...

I had an (cache) issue with safari on a mac - couldn't see the toolbar. Reloading the page solved it.
