Assigning specfic blocks to template

There's a way to someone who doesn't have any PHP knowledge like me assign an specific block directly in the template, instead of defining an area and then insert that block?

For exemple, I'm creating the new site for the organization I work to. The page header will have a menu, a breadcrumb trail, and a search area. If that's possible, I'd like to automatically have the auto-nav and the search blocks already assigned in the template, so every time I create a new page I don't have to add them, even through scrapbooks.

Thanks!

You're talking about Page Type Defaults. Check out this post:http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/usage/handy-trick-with-pa...

Basically you can add a 'Default' block to a page type and it will get added the next time someone creates a new page with that Page Type.
