Help - Site login broken!!

Hi all,
Site was working fine yesterday. Tried to log in earlier using ie6 (yes i know it doesnt work in ie6), but also tried this evening in ie7 and firefox.
First login attempt is greeted with
second login attempt clears the screen and gives:-
This message then persists in the browser if any page in the installation is chosen, until the cache is cleared.
What does this mean? How do I fix it?!!

I was referring to browser cache. AFAIK nothing has changed with the database.
On checking the database it seems ok. If I look at the tools screen it tells me that the additional features for working with linked tables have been deactivated, but this is consitent with other working installations.

Thanks guys - looks like this is a server issue - tried to delete the concrete cache and am just getting 550 - read only filesystem errors.
Will post for support from my provider. Somehow the site has been locked !!

which cache are you talking about, concrete5's?
at a glance (im no expert) this looks like something has changed/filled up with your database.
