Block design in page default - How?

Hi,

I'd like to set up some borders, etc, on various blocks in my page template.

When I try to edit the page template, I am unable to enter any simple block design features like a border.

Am I missing a trick here? How do I set up my page default so that its blocks can have borders, etc? I do not want to have to hand-edit 6 blocks per page on lots of pages!

at this time, setting "designs" to page defaults is not available, but you can however do a search for "custom block tutorial" in the forums where you can learn to create a custom block view, and then you can set your page defaults to use your new custom template.
