I recently changed some info for people registering into my site, I think, (required info, e-mail address etc.) I did'nt realize anything could change my admin login. Now when I tried to log in as admin it only asks for e-mail address and password for wich I have none on file so it wont let me in as admin. what can I do?

when you first setup concrete5 you HAD to put an email address in.

if you can get to the database, you should see these in the users table

you are correct, when I signed up it was through bluehost/simple scripts, but when I downloaded concrete5 from simple scripts all it sets is your administrators username and password. I checked my initial e-mail and my login info was set as username "admin" and then my password. What is happening is that when I try to login it only asks for my e-mail address, it used to ask for my username and password. I think I may have set something in attributes but I am not sure. I thought it was info for my form so I set it to ask for e-mail address and I think I set it to be required. I am really not sure what I did wrong. Is there a way to access the database or get to the admin login through a diferent url or something? Thanks a lot!

I fugured it out, I got to my dashboard via domainname/index.php/dashboard. I realized that in users and groups / login and registration / registration I clicked (use e-mail address as username) and save. for some reason? That caused my site to only allow an e-mail address for loging in from the front page, which is fine. The other thing I found was that when I uninstalled my first application of concrete 5 (trying it out) the site still pulls up under the old site name. is there any way to delete that old site completely? Thank you very much for your time I really appreciate it!
