Login Problems
Permalink
I recently designed a website, but when i logged out I couldn't log back in. I had the email with the u:name and P:word so I know I was getting those right. So I uninstalled Concrete5 and re-installed it. Now when I try and login it says Username or Password is incorrect. And when I input my email, which is the one I used before, it says No record of email. Whats going on here?
Have you used something like PHPMyAdmin to see what users are registered in your database?
What should I be seeing in PHPMyAdmin? I'm still very confused.
if you uninstall and install concrete5 anew, you will wipe the users.
you should be able to use the forgot password interface to recover your password unless email isn't working on your server. if that's the case, then the advice below of looking at the logs table in your database FOR the email concrete5 is trying to send when you request forgotten password is a good idea.
